It was a Canon Rebel and a Sandisk Ultra II 2GB card!

That is about the stupidest title of an article I've seen... I know you didn't write it. I would have been inclined in posting this item to correct it... something like "Owner finds Camera Lost in NY creek 3 Years Ago." Silly, silly silly...

I just put it up as a joke to let some see that CF cards can lay in the water for three years and still can get pictures off it.

Nothing else, I just thought it was funny.

Actually, if we're talking about the durability of CF cards, I'll add that not only can they lay in water for an extended period, but they can also be put through the 'drying cycle' too. (Don't ask me how I know this!)

Yeah, it's odd. Usually a find of human remains in a creek after 3 years is more important than camera ownership status.
