p.1 #1 · What ever happened to the D400 ?

Is this camera ever going to be released ?

Rumours of a FF D600 seem odd if the price bracket is going to be the same for the rumoured D400.
Does anybody know what's going on.

Is November a month we need to look out for ?

The rumors are cold. I got tired of waiting and grabbeda D300s. Maybe I'll see what the D400 market looks like in a couple years...

I'm expecting them to be close - a pro DX and a prosumer FX at $1795 and $1995...

I also would love the see a D400 but you wonder if it will ever happen. I love my D300 and if wasn't getting it done I might be more impatient. I just don't feel the desire to jump to a D7000 so time will tell.

Not sure this is going to happen anytime soon; Nikon seems focused on expanding their FF line at the moment.

Nikon need to sort out their quality control issues on the D800 before releasing another camera. I would be interested in a D600 but not if its got AF issues etc
