My wife, son and I were hiking in Rickets Glenn State Park in Pennsylvania and I find the first little cascade next to a 35 foot waterfall and set up and start photographing it. Lusi, my wife asks me what I’m doing and I tell her photographing this pretty little cascade. Lusi “We traveled and hiked all this distance you are you photographing a dribble.” I say “Yes that’s right, it’s pretty. I’ll get to the big fall after this. I see some great photo opportunities in front of me.” When I got off my belly and shared I’m happy to say Lusi liked what she saw. We went on to have a great hike.

Hey Morris,

It's always great when you see something beautiful and are able to capture it. And if the family likes it too, that's even better.

#3 is my favorite. In both #1 and 2, it feels too dark, maybe that's the look you are after, but I would open up the shadows some more.

Nice series, Morris. I like the dark BG to help bring out the falls. 2 and 4 are my picks. Nicely done.
