p.1 #1 · What remote control?

What remote control, wired and wireless, do you use for D3 D4?

Over the years, I have been using many different ones, Nikon's and third party makers. They are either to bulky or they don't work well.
Have you had better luck?

I use these for my rodeo remotes...
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/750013-REG/Vello_RW_N1_FreeWave_Wireless_Remote_Shutter.html
For an add'l $7 you can get a cable connector for a lesser body (D7K) that doesn't have the 10 pin connector. Win!!
I've used 'em from the far end of the arena...over 300' in dusty conditions They may go even further.

i've used one that looks eerily like the one trenchmonkey listed to for my no longer with me D90 and now on month D7000 but it was labeled Vivitar. Got that one from Amazon and it works great.

Trench, actually i googled and found some other brands, with many good reviews and looking decent and even slightly less expensive than 'yours'. But finally I voted for yours. I bet that because I 'know' you and trusted your opinion. So that is finally the trust, not the price that won out. So thanks again for the recommandation.

Here's my next wireless remote for D800(also works with D4) - it's on its way;
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005PCDSBQ/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2T1_SC_dp_2

I used Vello FreeWave remote for just over a month, not working any longer, returning it to BH for replacement.

Here's what the new one looks like(receiver powered by cameara battery)

Just received above RFN-4s for D800 and tried it out for a few shots.
I was kind of worried about the protruding antena on the receiver, but it turned out smaller than I expected. The antena is made of FLEXIBLE RUBBER-LIKE material, I don't think it will be in anyone's way to cause any trouble.

Oh, yes, its RF signal works very well, but the transmitter needs 1 AAA battery(supplied).

Just received an RFN4s from Amazon for my D700. Small, lite, works as advertised.

I am reading that some people have trouble with the RFN4s during bracketed shots using a D800. Is that correct from your experience?
