In crop mode with grip you can have 6fps in stead of 4fps, that's a big difference. I find it difficult to keep the action within the DX-frame, I have no experience in dim light. I would assume it should be more than ok. You'll need high ISO, I typically shoot between 3200 and 6400 to freeze the action with fast lenses like a 85 1.8 and the 70-200VR. I don't really see a need for fast fps, I focus on getting the right shot, not on bringing back thousands of impossible to sort pictures. I use bursts for static shots (team after the game to avoid people blinking among others) Guy Jul 31, 2012 at 08:54 PM
