Does anyone know where to purchase a D800e? I need it by next Thursday 08/08/2012.

I put in my order with BH and Adorama in April, so far no luck.

I am going on vacation with my family in Curaçao and wish to have the D800e to replace my aging D2X.

Amazon had them in stock late last week, I got mine there. Best Buy is rumored to have them, I won't shop there but it might work for you to start calling them.

I got mine from Boolchand's in US Virgin Islands, us warrantee. They do have a store in Curaçao , you can contact them to see if they have stock. http://www.boolchand.com/phototour-curacao.htm

I called Roberts, Ace....and non of them have in stock.

Roberts put me on the waiting list. Hopefully it is not too long as BH & Adorama. If I have known, I would not put my order in with the big "boys".

Anywhere else? Anyone. I don't want to lose the opportunity to use it while on vacation.

I sent you a PM... I got a call from an authorized dealer in Portland today and my name came up on the list. I just picked up a D800E at another dealer last week (I'm on the list at 3 stores), so this one's up for grabs. I only ask MSRP + shipping... I also posted this on the buy/sell forum.

Just got an email from Ravi at Boolchand's in US Virgin Islands. They have a small supply of D800 E available. US warranty. Since they also have branches in Curacao maybe you can physically pick one up during your visit. Contact him now at ravi@boolchand.com. No personal affiliation etc.
