p.1 #1 · Who to clean Canon 200 1.8?

I have a Canon 200 1.8 and want to have it professionally cleaned prior to a shoot I have scheduled for Labor Day weekend (has some dust (specifically 1 pretty large speck in there that I want out)).

I know Canon stopped working on these long ago. But what repair shop is willing to work on these lenses?

I have had great luck with KEH. They fixed a misplaced element in my 200 1.8 and gave it a great cleaning a few years back.

I have used Midwest for out of production lenses, they are pretty good. They are also one of the few factory authorized independent repair centers.

Midwest still repairs this lens. I called them when I bought mine.

Thomas, Where in GA are you? There is a very small place off Atlanta Rd. in Smyrna called Camera Service Company. The replace the mount and cleaned mine a few years ago. They have been doing any service and cleaning I need for about 10 years.

Doubtful future servicing availability is why I sold my 200 f/1.8....loved that lens

This is an old list....you could get an update by calling a canon factory service center
