Getting ready for high school night football. Mostly use a monopod, but for me, it is restricting. Sometimes I've hand held with the old Nikon pistol grip, but it does get heavy. I shoot kneeling and always prop an elbow.
Would a Bushhawk be the ticket? Does it really, I mean really, make a difference when hand holding a pro body and 300/2.8?
Yup, but I'm slightly biased (imagine that)
Been usin' the B'Hawks since the mid 80's in one form or another, Dennis.
They're not for everyone so you might want to try before you buy...shoot me a PM.
Trenchmonkey is the Bushhawk expert. His remarks, years ago, tweeked my interest.
I no longer use monopods. The Bushhawk is the only way to go.
Because of their anatomy, women have problems. Most problems can be overcome if you have imagination and learn how to adjust the Bushhawk for your own use.
It's not for everyone. It is a tool and when you find a tool that works for you then it is the tool you go to.
