p.1 #1 · Milky Way through the trees..

My trusty photo buddy, Sage (Chocolate Lab) and I went out in search of dark skies in the mountains of the Umpqua National Forest. Found a great spot to camp here on this 5,000 ft peak with a great view of the dark night sky.
The central part of Oregon is one of the darkest places in the lower 48, so that makes for some good dark skies, with little to no light pollution..
