Great colors. Maybe you can shoot the image next time before the sun comes out to avoid the dark shadows. Perhaps with and ND Grad filter also, to reduce the DR stops. It is definitely a location worth multiple visits and many different exposures.

I agree with AMaji about not shooting in such bright light. The composition is nice.
