p.1 #1 · Banff with a "Toy" camera

I recently returned from vacation in Canada and thought the forum might enjoy a few pictures taken from my baby camera, the V1.

Here are a few of the shots from Banff, Jasper, British Columbia, etc...

Just took my V1 10-30, 30-110 and a couple of filters and of course my little gitzo tripod.

Please feel free to add any comments on my website. My website allows you to comment on any image. I love to read the comments.

Welcome to Fred Miranda! If you look at the first page of the Landscape Forum, you will find "Landscape Posting Guidelines" towards the top of the page. Its worth a read through that. Most folks posting pictures will post up to four of their best images in the post itself (see Guidelines).

I really enjoyed looking at your gallery! You have some great shots in there. A few have some blown whites, but generally most of the images are very nice. I especially liked a few of your waterfall images. I find the "Hamilton Falls" image particularly striking! You should post here more often! Again, welcome to the forum.

Oh, btw, I don't consider that camera a toy at all. Your images are proof.

I am not the moderator, but I don't think so. Why don't you just reply to this thread with links to up to four of your photos in that reply. Read the guidelines for directions.

Very nice work. Goes to show that the eyes behind the lens/camera is more important than the lens/camera.

Thanks. I am considering the Fuji X series to help increase the Dynamic Range as the V1. While I am happy with the results, I think a better senser might help with some of the blown whites.
