Looking to pick up a Zeiss 35 f/2 version 1 for Nikon, but I'm not sure what would be considered a good price for a lens in near mint condition with box and all accessories. Thoughts?
The ZF.1 should normally be quite a bit cheaper than the ZF.2 or ZE versions... A quick search on finished auctions on eBay shows one for $748, another for $621. The ones around $800 aren't selling. A bit of patience should yield one for about $700, I would guess.
I got mine for 400 eruros, some years ago. That was an extremely good price for the mint state it was (and is) in. Now these lenses sell for amounts between 500 and 600 euros.
In UK the current price is around £500 I believe. I bought mine for £400 a year or two ago. However, the prices have gone down recently, especially for more vintage lenses!
