Not my favorite style of architecture, but a beautiful rendering of the details is what makes this for me, the leaves, gingerbread and pealing roof shingles.

I know nothing about architecture- which makes it easier to find buildings I like- and dislike.
Two examples: the old New England houses- I like.
Pei's Pyramid at Paris's Louvre Museum: I'd pay kids to stone the damnable thing! Luckily it wasn't built the last time I visited Paris .

Oh, my previous comment about Pei's glass pyramid should have stipulated that I don't so much hate the building as I hate its location (in the courtyard of one of the most beautiful palaces of the period). Stick it somewhere else and I'd feel entirely different about it.
