I just received a 28 f1.8G lens that I bought over the B&S forum here. It only came with the ESC paper (Nikon extended warranty, as shown) and manual. The seller told me that the newer Nikon like 85 f1.8G and 28 f1.8G just comes with the ESC paper and manual and the ESC paper is the proof for warranty. Since I didn't buy new Nikon lenses for a while, could some one confirm this?
In my old days, the Nikon new lenses come with a one year warranty card and another envelop with document for the extended warranty, for a total of 5 years extended warranty (US only).
