jhinkey Offline • • • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #2 · D800 + 24-85mm VR? My first copy of the 24-85AFS VR had to go back as it consistently underexposed by 1 stop. It also was not any better than the older version (which I still have) at 85mm, which was very disappointing. Other than that it looked and felt pretty good on the D800. Outdoors I like to dial in a little negative EC anyway and pull up the image with the 800. I like the 24-85 as a hiking, go anywhere lens.
