These guys took us to Germany last year, moved to Vietnam and then came home to get married in South Carolina. We were psyched about booking this one!

I'd love any thoughts or C&C. The groom is an occasional FMer, so be nice

A bit too much T/S use for me personally. The only one that really does it for me is #18, that one is fantastic.

Also the exit shot (#41) is perfect.

wonderful variety of images. great mix of journalism, posing and happiness.

i think you had a fairly strong yellow cast going in your processing for a while, which has been removed from all these images.

i like the new "less yellow" look much better.

Very Nice....you were about 30 minutes away from me....I have shot at both of those places several times. My only critic is that there is too much T/S for my taste...other than that....PERFECT!

As always solid stuff.

Standouts (imnsho)

14 I love how you framed and focused this one. Very, very nice.
19 love the background though somehow I feel you could have done more with it...
31 That kids face!! Like "what the heck is taking them so long?! Cut the darn thing let me at it!"
39 Again, I like the oof foreground, and that kid on the shoulder is hilarious.
41 great end, nicely framed, lit and captured (and I'm even okay with the tilt!)

Random points, mostly nitpicks (disclaimer: I have nodule what I'm talking about):
2 I think I'd rather see a lower view (maybe because that's how I see the world, not being a giant and all)
3 love how the light catches her cheek! Totally makes the photo
4 I think a portrait orientation may have worked better here (the right side just looks too empty)
7 I feel like this me is lacking context (but that may be only as presented here)
9 I see what ypure going for but I just don't think it works here...
Overall ridiculously good looking couple
16 the line is distracting for me, but that's a taste thing...
23 very cute love his expression and the fact that his dad (assumption) is helping him. I think a portrait crop ofjusthimandall those hands (and arm) would before visually interesting (instead of boring half of guy on the left withhishandover his crotch)
25 seems a bit empty...
27 I really like how you framed this (and the ts thing really works well here)
As always your dancing pics rock.

I love 4!! That's the wedding venue in that photo isn't it? Sweet. That venue is just too cool.
18 is great too. And those tree roots in the others rock.

My only nitpick about this is I'm seeing too much blur/tilt-shift.

dope set

#14 #31 #18 are my favorites in that order. However, if I were them I would have 14 and 18 hanging up on my wall.

If I was able to make a slight adjustment it would be on #22. It has a little too much hand on hip action for me. I know it's a casual relaxed group shot but that's just something that caught my attention.

Your sets are always amazing (yeah, overused description but sometimes so true)! As is this one. But. For me there is way too much T/S, oftentimes not really adding anything, but simply blurring parts of the images. Furthermore,
1: love your introductory images. so clean and stylish! cool.
16: great shot, but i'd have left the bar out of it as it is quite distracting
18: omg, omg, omg!

Tilt-shift gone wild turns my second-favorite FM photographer into . . . all the things that stopped me from spending much time here.

Too many great photos to try to single out favs, though I just love her expression in 21. In this photo, I think a little juducious liquify on his neck would do wonders.

I think back at would we could provide back in the late '70's and early '80's compared to this and other work I see now. Even the top practitioners of the day weren't generating the wonderful photos available to today's brides.

You and your beautiful wife truly have the gift of "the eye" for composition. Some really great images here and a really lovely bride and wedding. That said, no matter how much I love your work please do yourself a favor and leave that darn T/S in the bag much more often. It honestly is becoming a gimmick and a couple of these shots almost give you vertigo. Your too good to need gimmicks!

Good God she is gorgeous!

The light in 3B is captivating. 13 is stunning. Great moment & comp in 15. 25 is fantastic. Only one I don't love is 38 - the big bright light makes my eyes hurt. Such beautiful coverage.

I actually love the t/s, don't think its gimmicky at all because it is done so well. I think we judge it as trendy and overdone because we look at tons of other photographer's images in a day who are using it...but to me they are still artistic, lovely shots that your clients will love for a lifetime.

Dang, this set is smoking. Awesome venue and your compositions are so freaking good. 17, 34, amd 41 are my faves here. In 41 I'd be tempted to crop him off right the wrist, only because of the way his right arm is hanging.

Personally, I like the tilt-shift. Probably because I like using my own tilt-shift. 11 may be the only one when I would have preferred to see the straight shot.

I do agree that the railing in 16 is distracting. Unless it adds something to the shot that I'm not aware of, I'd prefer seeing it shot from just beneath that rail. Also the tree in 38 seems overly bright.
