Great atmosphere. I especially #2 with the gnarly spire peaking through the clouds.

Great work, Helen and you should cross post to BW if you havent. Not all of us frequent both forums.
In a way its unfair to choose a favorite, though it is the norm to comment that way. Problem is, each is done just right and offers a different feel and view.
Nonetheless, #2 for me!
Scott

Great series, Helen.
I especially like how #1 gives us a peak-a-boo () look above and to the right. Nice effect.

Thanks charlie, I love the way you worded it.

Tough to choose Helen but I think I like the closer view of #2 over the other two, excellent work!

Helen,
The first two are spectacular. The strong shadows and leading lines make these superb images!
cheers,

Very dramatic B&W shots. #2 for me because it includes the needle.

Hi! I really like that you went with a telephoto view instead of the more typical, trying to get it all in, wideangle view of the mountains. Which I admit its very tempting in the Alps since the views are spectacular. But, the more tele view gives a sense of space that really conveys the complexity and scale of the topography of the glaciers and the glaciated terrain.
