Very clever. Reminds me of that TV series with Jessica Alba (but for the life of me can't remember the name of the show).

NICE shot Paul! Age, height, weight, number of traffic tickets, how many guns and sharp knives she has at home etc... all in the barcode (hehehehe, maybe even where her Dad lives )

You did good Excellent idea for #123.

It was implanted during shooting WA #122. And you thought it was just a checkup....

Great shot.

EXACTLY. Exactly. Sigh. Paul, I think this belongs on the cover of...well maybe the Atlantic Monthly. I'm bowled over. Maybe the winner for this WA, but it goes far beyond that.

The others described my thoughts. Great job Paul!

How did you do the barcode to match the body curvature so well??

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Keith: The barcode and the laser light were on her skin. No Photoshop foolery here except a crop and a little cleanup.

And don't forget, we expect and demand that the added security will not inconvience us in any way nor take away any of our "privacy".

Great Shot, Paul.

When I first saw this in the thumbnail view, I was thinking the barcode was a reference to the end-times (i.e. 666). But then again, it couldn't be... that will be a mark on the forehead. Kinda seems like it has some merit, though doesn't it? How do we ensure that the people boarding the plane/train/bus are who they say they are?? Just scan the back of their neck (or forehead).

I've always thought about getting a barcode as a tattoo. Except if I got one I'd get the barcode for something out of the grocery store so when someone scans it the price of creamed corn would come up.

Paul, I agree with Jess. This belongs on a magazine cover. Really! Time, Newsweek, the New Yorker. All of 'em!
This is a brilliant interpretation of the assignment.Very timely and provacative!

Wow, Paul. This one really says it all! It would have been a great idea with the bar code, but with the red reader cutting through the neck, well, it goes beyond great. What a powerful image. I'm scared...

Wow. Paul, you're really a master of "Luck favors the prepared mind" if you chanced upon such a person.
