What do I love about the shot?....shot at freakin 2500 @f13 and 1/1600....exactly what we all were hoping for. No fear of bumping up the iso and still keeping shutter speed and aperture where it belongs! Awesome!
Now tell me, if you wanted to blow this up BIG, could you do it without the noise becoming an issue...sometimes tough to tell on the computer. It certainly looks like you could.

Now this is what I have been waiting for. Somebody with a 600 mk2 actually posting something rather than just chest beating AND a 1dx. All quite impressive, great job Canon!! Can't wait for my 1dx, I'm glad I ordered it. Too bad the exif is gone Ant, the DOF is too shallow so the bird MUST have been REAL close. Still the shot rocks dude. Did you run NR on the BG? How about this, is 3200 cleaner than an unnatural 2500? Just asking, I'll find out soon enough Good luck in AK

For around $19K, I would expect nothing less than this Ant. LMAO A super shot though - especially @ ISO 2500. Looks like a keeper kombo to me ~ Ron

Great job Ant, I'm liking it, but I still want to keep my mk IV for the 10 fps and the 1.3x reach. I'm guessing you'll have to creep a bit closer to your subject with this setup than with the older 800/ mk IV combo. The noise or the lack of significant noise is a huge plus for us high iso shooters. GL in Alaska.
