All 2002 members who are still active on FM are a very special bunch. The site quality thanks you.
BTW: We should have a special profile star on 2002 FMers!
In 2002, I was still under the delusion that DPR was sensible use of my time. I also started with the D30, and keep it for sentimental reasons. After a used 1Ds hit half price, I upgraded. The 1Ds remains my main DSLR, although the 1Ds3 is looking more attractive every day. Next year is my 10th with FM... what a decade!

Actually, aren't there a handful of other founders who (like yourself, Fred) came online in December 2001?
BTW, kudos to all 2002 members who are still active here! It's been a wild (digital)ride the last 10 years! In 2002, I was only a 'digital preemie' using a Canon Elph P&S (which I still have)...I did not fully convert to digital until December of '03.
Whoa what a pleasant memory registering in 2002. So many excellent shooters to learn from. The eclectic board then had everyone giving feedback on genres way out of their own style of shooting and enjoying every minute of it. Totally happy times photographically and socially.
Age wise, hmm probably in the top ten also....(69) now.

Thank you Fred for such glorious times.
Yes, good times!
You registered the board only 12 days after me!!
Nice to see you,
Fred
Guess I'm part of this club. Joined Oct 01, 2002. I had a Canon D30 and a Tokina 28-70 f2.8 at that time. I paid $2200 for a new D30 and recent purchased a used one for only $100! How times has changed.
