Haven't had the chance to do a family shoot in a while. This was a nice change from weddings!

C&C always welcome.

Hi Mike, I really enjoy family sessions like these that just kind of show the family having fun. I like the processing you've done and agree on 17, absolutely love that one - looks like she's toying with gravity somehow. I do like unusual crops, however some of these are a little too much for my tastes. The 1st felt a little too extreme on the edge, even though I posted a similar shot very recently - but my dude is looking the other way, so I feel like I can get away with it ;-) I do really like her expression in 2, and I'm normally cool with OOF foreground objects, but I feel like this one doesn't add anything. I really like 3 - great moment. I think the close crop in 4 works, but somehow it feels more like an ending shot to me - sorta like they are going home for the night. The others I like - skipping to 11-13, where I do like the unconventional crops here. The 14, I really like, cuz it's such a cool swing, never seen anything like that. 15 - another one I really like because of the cute expressions and the shapes and the bright feel. I'm not super crazy about 16, just because it's sorta overpowering to me.

Anyway, those are my random thoughts, I know I kinda jumped around. But I did enjoy these, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Dave - I quite enjoy random thoughts! I feel privileged that you took the time to elaborate on your opinions, THANK YOU for that!

As my style matures, I feel I am gravitating away from conventionalism. Ugly crops and in-between moments are rocking my world.

Thanks again for your comments!

Nevermind. It's an Aussie saying... Mrs Palmer and her 5 daughters.

I like 14 and 15 best. Most of the others the framing is just to strange for my taste.
