A few more from the Indian Sub-continent and 1 from a little closer to home. I've seen a bunch of peacocks but never in their natural environment. We came upon a few at a water hole but no matter how much I tried to sound like a peahen the male wouldn't spread its tail feathers...so for a nicer shot of those gorgeous feathers I am presenting an image taken of the wild peacocks in New Jersey. There is a great sculpture garden in Hamilton, NJ that is worth the trip just to see the art...but I happened to show up during mating season and got a nice surprise as these noisy birds paraded around.
The Common Kestrel on the branch was a lucky find and I decided not to clone out the little foliage to the left and right of the branch...you can judge whether you think I should have.
And lastly, another stripey cat image....you should only see the original....this is a Lightroom/Photoshop save if ever I saw one...the virtues of shooting raw!

A very nice set Eric. For the Kestrel, I think I would have cropped it just below the "knob" of the branch ~ Ron
Thanks Ron...the kestrel shot was already a big crop so I didn't want to do more...however here it is but my fear is it doesn't hold up as well being further cropped.

I was going to say to crop the Kestrel tighter and vertical but now I see why you didn't. Smart man The background on that one is to die for! The Peacock sure is lovely, such deep blues. I too would do anything I could to save the Tiger shot, very nicely done
