Found these yesterday while out for a hike in Okanagan Mountain Park. They tend to grow in large swaths on open slopes. Right now they are in their prime. They are also known as ragged robin and deerhorn clarkia. Species name is Clarkia pulchella after Meriweather Lewis first described this in 1806 while traveling through Idaho. The sun was in and out while I photographed these so exposures are somewhat different. C and C welcome.
