No it's a city in the Netherlands: "'s-Hertogenbosch"
The 17/1.8 performs better than some people think. It's sharp, even wide open.
The one problem I have with it isn't really because of the lens itself. I also own an RX1 which offers about the same FOV. The look that I get from the RX1 is much more pleasing than what I get from my OM-D + 17/1.8. That's why I only use the 17/1.8 when I need the AF speed. It sure is fast (and silent)!
Great lens for things like street photography.
I will buy that. The RX1's IQ is unbeatable. But I think the 12-40 can match the 17/1.8's IQ from f2.8. A faster lens is always nicer to shoot with but I have to rationalize and trim down my lens collection. The choice for me is to keep the primes or the zoom. As the 12-40 is practically prime-lens quality, I think I will keep the 12-40 and sell my 3 primes. I hate to do this but at this point in time I cannot afford the luxury of primes + zoom.
