Having these gals approach is altogether different than seeing a 70 lbs. leopard or slightly built cheetah. While I don't get too nervous, every now and then I do think...what if it didn't read the textbook and know that the vehicle and occupants aren't on the menu...hopefully they didn't play hookey that day.

Yikes! What a great set of shots, and never mind that you were in a vehicle, it's got to be hairy when they look your way! Ever get the urge to call out "here kitty, kitty, kitty?"

Having seen lions make a kill it is difficult not to be nervous around them. Under that kitty cat surface there lurks a beast that would be at home in any horror film.
Here kitty kitty!!! My heart picked up the pace a bit just looking at the photographs Eric!! I cannot imagine what it must feel like to experience this in person. Wonderful photographs my friend, I found myself lost in them.
Oh man- wonderful set, Eric.
The first image brought a warm glow- "Hey, Mom is giving out some loving; and I'm going to get my share of it."
And then 2,3 and 4 turn me cold with fear. The last image seals the deal. Yikes is the right word.
There's a reason stores sell a lot of brown trousers for lion safaris .
