Just wondering anyone of the wedding photographer here shoots with any other brand apart from Canikon.

Would be great to know why as well.

Hello. I use Sony/Minolta stuff as it's the system I started with when I picked up my first 35mm SLR. just a natural progression through... I've stuck with it as I like the glass, the ergonomics. I'm familiar with everything of course too. It's capabilities well exceeds my abilities as well... I'm sure there are far better set ups out there technically, but I like what I use (with normal levels of occasional frustration).

Sony but not Alpha lol. It's my waterproof TX10 backup P&S I use just in case it's raining or I'm doing underwater portraits or shots. Alpha 95 looks awesome but it's just not widely accepted enough.

I shoot both Nikon and a Leica M9 now. The Leica is getting more and more use as I get more comfortable with it.

Nikon/Fuji -- I've considered Leica for a while, but the price point is a bit too high.

Sony A850! I absolutely love the look of the sony files compared to my 5d or 5dii.

I know there are at least a couple of users here who shoot with a pair of M9s, and if you widen the scope to film photographers, there are several folks floating around here who tote Contaxes and Mamiyas.

Pretty sure VPELL shoots Sony.. and does it well.
I have gone fuji for sure

I use a Contax 645, and if I'm in a tough mood I'll shlepp along a Mamiya RZ for the formals. I'd love (and intend) to add a Leica one of these days

I do shoot Canon, but also Sony/Minolta, started with Minolta way back in 1987 and was thrilled to find out I can use my lenses and other accessories with a new digital system and then I invested in a new lens which pretty much stays glued to my sony. I am considering upgrading it to the new a77, though I would be thrilled if they add a new full frame with similar focusing system. For the most part I use my Canon for wide to portrait shots and my sony for portrait to closeup shots, though I have been using it more lately because it delivers some awesome shots and the files do look oh so nice.

no, I have a few Minolta Maxxum cameras, the first one from 1987 and then a subsequent model since my ex was holding my camera hostage for many years, amazingly his current wife must have told him to give me my gear back because I eventually got all of my equipment back and thankfully it was still in perfect condition, so because of this I ended up with quite a bit of stuff once I got back my old stuff combined with what I bought to replace it.

I shoot Nikon, but when I shoot film, I lug my F100 and my Mamiya 645AFD out. That thing is beautiful and I love it.
