Not up to the standard of some grizzly posts here- but if I worried about things like that on the Bird and Bear Forum, why shucks- I'd be worried all the time .
I was in a cage in Denali National Park, Alaska (aka school bus shuttle), and the driver stopped so we could watch this mighty beast for a few minutes as it munched like crazy on blueberries. Even though the park shuttles aren't narrated, the drivers know why everyone is on the bus, and most are very accommodating.
Brer bear was a fair distance away (pic taken with 400mm), but this plainly shows- even from a distance- the shoulder hump that grizzlies have (and that black bears don't have). It's muscle tissue- necessary and used because grizzlies spend a lot of time digging up the earth for roots, tubers and ground squirrels, plus moving rocks around, and other similar activities.
