p.1 #1 · Image compression for the web

I just did a quick test between Lightroom, Photoshop, JPEGmini, and Smush.it to see what worked the best for posting images online. View the results here: http://photokaz.com/2012/06/image-compression-for-the-web/

Would it be too much to ask if you can post your results here in this post?

Thanks in advance.

The final results are below, though I think posting all of the images and text here is really more trouble than it's worth since it's all online already.

BEST: Photoshop Save for Web & Devices. No other optimization needed.
GOOD: Lightroom export with JPEGmini optimization.
CRAP: Smush.it. Not worthwhile for any images.

Doesn't "Best" strip the EXIF data from the image? I'm just asking.

It will only strip if you tell it to. There is a "metadata" pull down where you can select how much info you want in there.
