The story:
I've been searching for a VERY long time for essentially a small backpack to carry a minimum amount of gear with a quick access door.
The requirements:
Must have a quick access door that has enough space for a 5D2 (and someday 5D3) with a grip and a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II attached.
Must have space for at least 2 more lenses (up to 4, but honestly less is more.) The other two lenses being 24-70mm f/2.8L and a wide angle to be determined (it's down to the 17-40mm or the Sigma 12-24 at this point.) Future lenses include a fish-eye, and a tilt-shift... but new lens purchases outside of the WA won't be happening for a while.
Other accessories... 580ex II flash, filters, compact flash cards, cleaning stuff, etc.
Tripod attachment either as a peripheral or as a direct attachment with no additional purchase.
Doesn't have a laptop bay (for my purposes it just adds thickness, and I have other bags laptop gear.)
Bags I've already eliminated. Lowepro 350, Kata 3n1 30 (although I may be forced to get this one, if neither of these bags fit the bill,) Petrol PD331 (too big,) All of Crumpler (no quick access,) and numerous other bags.

So it comes down to the two in the title (Petrol PD336 and Vanguard Adaptor 45) for me, and I haven't seen any reviews or enough info to determine whether or not their main compartments can fit a 5D2 with 70-200mm attached. Looking at the internal dimensions it's close, but I would hate to order a bag online and then deal with having to return it. If someone owns either and can tell me definitively if it will fit that would be a great help.
Well I sort of figured this would happen, a bunch of looks and no replies. I know that most people haven't purchased either of these bags... otherwise there would be more reviews and this kind of info would be way easier to find out.
