I would like to find something to attach my iPad 3 to the tripod that has my camera attached. Don't think I want to use another tripod or light stand to attach with some products I've found.

The Tournez Carbon Fiber Tripod Mount for iPad might be what you are looking for but seems to be pricey at $80.

Looks like it attaches on the tripod mount and not something that could clamp onto one of the legs

This one only has one arm Tournez C Clamp Mount

This one has two arms Tournez Carbon Fiber Mount 360 Adjust

Both can clamp onto your tripod legs or anything else that fits in the clamp.
