Some nice flora there Shiva. Wouldnt expect to see orchids in the wilds of Montana! Seems like you had better light on the last three....With the background on the fifth the most pleasing...
Thanks for the comments Greg. The fairy slippers were photographed late in the evening with fading light. Since the flowers are only inches above the forest floor, backgrounds tend to be very busy. Compared to last year at this same time of the season, wild orchid numbers seem to be down this year due to less snow melt and runoff. We will be checking out another favorite site for fairy slippers in a few days.
