so i finally lost it and bought a 135 last week ,
been using 70-200 for too long , finally got this great lens and its starting to be the second lens of my choice after the sigi 50 1.4

Stop it! It's the one thing I miss about Canon, and any Canon shooter who doesn't own it is making a mistake.

They do.... but it hasn't been updated since 1990.

135mm as a length seems to go in an out of fashion but oddly it's 100/105mm I can't get on with

If the price tag makes you cringe, try 135/1.8 ZA. Zeiss, AF, no cringe... And YES it will change your life ;-)

The EF 135L is certainly one of the greats in the lens world. It is a wonderful mid-range tele-portrait lens for me.

Ever since I bought the Sigma 85mm 1.4, I really haven't been reaching for the 135L much at all.

For the first time in quite a few weddings I decided to use my 135 on the weekend. Not really sure why, but I just did.

Woah! smooth, fast, accurate. Amazing background blur.

I really should be using this lens more!

Nice thread

If the 135/2 were cheaper, we'd have gotten one instead of the 85. However, right now, the 85 will do. That said, someday I wouldn't mind picking up a 135.
