I spend last week in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. Just took the D800E & 24-120 F4. These are high ISO hand held shots. First two dusk, second two dawn.
There are some breathtaking shots in here regardless of the camera used... I hoe to soon one day get to taking some nicer images.

this is with the nikon 85 1.4g. wide open @ 1.4.. I love the 3d effect with this lens when shot from further back and wide.
Great shots every one. Eagerly awaiting the arrival of my very own D800E, i've managed to click thru every page and look at every picture. I couldn't wait to post my own! Unfortunately my D800E was delivered today, and promptly repackaged to be sent back. I ordered a new one, and received a some what beat up gold box with the users manuals clearly opened and read thru, along with a body that had scratches all over the screen protector and 115 click before it even reached me, quite generous of them to include all those extras for a mere $ 3300.
rant over, so while i patiently await the arrival of a new one, please post more pictures for me to drool over!!!
I LOOVE this camera.. not for this picture just in general. the color reproduction with the 85 1.4 compared to the 85 1.4 on my D700 is worlds different. More contrast, deeper and richer colors.. man i love it.
