Thanks, David. As you may already know, drumlins are gravel deposits left from the last ice age. As the ice moved forward as a giant bulldozer, the leading edge pushed gravel and other debris along with it until the glaciation swept over to round the formations.
Growing up in Ireland I remember learning about the Drumlin landscape. Many of those Irish rolling hills were formed this way.
