I did this shot before using DPP, but I think the newest ACR is handling the highlights and contrast much much much much better. The more I can get the shot perfect in the RAW converter the better.

Did the colors really look like that?

Very nice, and I agree and would add, the more you get right at capture, the better.

Pretty close. I had to bump the vibrance and saturation up a little. It was necessary to make the variations really stand out.

I think I am going to print this sometime soon @ 8 feet wide in acrylic laminate.

Printing large panos is far more rewarding than single frames.

I am curious if any one thinks the brightness of the lower portion looks unnatural?
It is natural but feels more like a bad ND filter job to me.

Thoughts?

Johan, FWIW,My first impression, before reading your last comment was: The reflections don't look right, Reflections are usually (always ?) darker that the subject that is being reflected.
