p.1 #1 · So far this spring with a D4

I have been a Canon user for 12 years and made a partial switch to Nikon. All of these images are from a Nikon D4 and a Nikon 600mm
For what it is worth the D4 handles noise incredible well I have also found it to
be cumbersome to use if Canon can handle noise like this I will be back.
Feedback on images is appreciated

Great shots Chris,

The first four are real stand outs for me (even though I don't really like dogs!).

I too found the Nikon system cumbersome after years of Canon, but I think it is mostly just muscle memory - before too long the Nikon way seems natural and the Canon backwards. For me the buffer depth of the D4 is the real kicker in terms of gettting bird and wildlife shots.

Beautiful images.

Yeah, umm, went to your website. Pretty sure it's not the type of camera making these amazing photos! Super work!

Awesome shots, looks like that new NIkon gear is working well. I'm sure the 1DX will be up to matching this type of noise control but who knows until it gets released. Actually the 5D3 is really good so far. But seems like you've got a lot into the good glass already so not sure if switching back would make sense.

I love the hooded merganser shot and the yellow misty wood duck. All are great but those 2 are my pics.

These are fabulous Chris. After shooting as long as you have with Canon gear, it will take some time to get used to the Nikon interface. They both have their good points and bad points. I can see why you are happy with the results.
