Upload & Sell: Off
Stopped by to shoot a local rodeo last summer. Small outdoor ring, just a few hundred spectators, could get really close to the action (dangerously close at time), had pretty free access anywhere I wanter.
Weather was overcast and it was a cool day on the California coast. Some interesting challenges shooting that, beginning with lens selection (I think I did most of the shooting with the 70-200mm, the 200-400mm ended up being too "long"), positioning to avoid the crappy backgrounds (trucks, trailers, people, etc...) and understand where the action was going to be.
All in all a fun experience and I am looking forward to do more soon.
