A trail camera video from last night showed a parent dropping off a rodent--maybe a pack rat. Junior spent about 45 minutes tearing chunks and eating said rodent. During the rest of the night, a parent brought food to the nest 3 more times but only one was eaten by Junior. He spent some time sleeping but mostly he was preening, wing flapping, resting, bobbing and swiveling his head at the parents or other extraneous off camera objects. He (it) is growing like mad and doing quite well.
The owner of the home had an adult bobcat in her back yard yesterday and was worried about Junior. There was no evidence of bobcat activity in any of the videos.

Thanks guys. He is doing well.I should have used a bigger basket--When Junior and a parent get in the "nest" it is pretty crowded.
