In the friendly spirit of giving one person's opinion: There are too many images involving too many possible ways of reacting to them. For me, the lack of sharpness in all but a couple of shots makes me wonder if any processing was done. True, OOF can be a creative technique- if used on the right image and with the right mind-set. Otherwise a picture just looks out of focus. I really like a few of these images-but IMO they would benefit greatly with some careful processing. As Charlie noted, the other images either need noise reduction, stronger attention to intended focus point, less centered subject matter, and careful adjustment in the underexposed areas. jamach Offline • • • • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #5 · whole lotta flowers Thanks for your insights and opinions, and taking the time to look see, much appreciated It is always a challenge to process flowers so as not to present flowers as done by everyone else, there are millions of flower shots available, so if one is to do flowers, do them differently ( as my old photography instructor used to say ). Maybe lighten up the lower right corner in #13? 19, 21 and 22 got interesting processing. Maybe go centric all the way in #22? 2 blinds me too much. Otherwise a very nice images. Chris Thanks Chris, 318 was done converting to black and white, then using a mask to bring out color, then applying Adobe Pixel Bender, basically. Thanks for the comments! Charlie (I mean well) Shugart Thaks for your time Charlie, it is obvious we have differing opinions as to what a proper 'mind set' is. And BTW, I did do careful processing. It is clear you do not ubderstand the processing done, but thanks for your comments in any case. I encourage you to do the same with your pictures - process them - those tulips were lame.
