Nice shots. In the first I like how the lines of the Milky Way and the road play off each other but find the bright glow from the city lights on the right and unfortunate distraction. I played around with it using adjustment layers to darken the sky and lighten the road so it appeared it connected with the stars but didn't come up with anything worth posting because darkening the sky and edges of the ground on the side of the road just made the city lights a bigger distraction.

I think the second shot would be improved by using a multiply adjustment layer of burning in of shadows or a curves correction to make the sky darker and the stars contrast more.
