Hello everyone. I managed to get out and do some shooting a few weeks back and finally had some time to go through them today. I went to my favorite pond to shoot my favorite subject, the Wood Duck. It's difficult to get low angles there without actually getting into the water due to the fact that the edges are sloping and your usually shooting from above, I tried my hardest to get low. Here's some Wood Ducks along with a Garter Snake. All these were taken with Nikon D300 and Nikon AF-S 300mm f4. Hope you enjoy them and C&C are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for looking.
A good looking set Matt. I like the more environmental versions of the duck shots. Snake is good too. Never seen a snake sit still long enough to view it, let alone photograph it.

Thank you, I'm glad you like them. It what surprise when they decided to get out of the water. The snake didn't stay long, it kept slithering away and I managed to get a few keepers.
