1- Bathing Dove Air Force attack fighter.
2- Navy Tomcat being shot off a carrier deck in the frozen north.

Thanks Douglas, David and Jonathan.
I also am fascinated by the blue ice of glaciers and icebergs. What causes it is the ice is so highly compressed that it breaks sunlight into the colors of the rainbow. The longer light waves are NOT reflected, but the shorter- blue- light waves ARE reflected, so we see it as blue ice.

Thanks, Ron- no funny-smelling stuff involved; just a few sips of premium wine-in-a-box (made from grape-like fruit that was crushed by bare-foot athletes on their ways home after showering at the local YMCA).

Charlie, between your moldy slides and ice sculptures you sure have a vivid imagination...who needs real wildlife when you can manufacture it from frozen water and fungus

To me, the second one is a broad-billed heron. Or a pterodactyl from the Flintstones. Have another couples sips of your premium deluxe wine in a box, and you'll agree you see the same as me.

Broad-billed heron? Hmmmm- yes, I like that.
Actually, Chris- I like these as bergy-bit images, but I'm still looking through my closet for something different in the way of "real" wildlife shots. That's where the grape-like wine comes into play
