One more, the sun setting in the marsh grass. I just liked how the setting sun glowed in the grass.

"Simple" and beautiful...your art shows through again. The first is my favorite. You may want a tad noise reduction in the last.

Lovely stuff Birdie! #1 is also my pick. An effective comp. All are nice, but those coneflowers are really well done. The last one is interesting too. Looks like you handled it fairly well.

I really enjoy the set Birdie! It gives a very nice feeling. Perhaps the last image does it for me. I see a fire within! Great job!

Another very nice set Birdie. I do have a few nits for you though. These are my impressions, and YMMV

1 - I'd like to see this in more of a landscape format with some taken off the bottom. i do love this shot though, and it's my pick too.
2 - You might try taking some off the right side here - maybe 1/2 so that the flower is still off center.
3, 4, and 5 - no nits

Thank you David, that is one of my favorites also . I know those cucumber beetles cause lots of damage, but they sure are photogenic with their coloring.

Ken, appreciate your comments very much. The area has so many of the wild coneflowers , it really is pretty neat to see.

They do look better to me Birdie. But it boils down to what you like - you don't have to make me happy.

What you leave out can be just as important as what you leave in. I am reminded of a wedding photo I saw that had the wedding couple posing on a beach. Trouble was that there was a nude couple walking in the bg. A funny shot, but probably not one you would want in your wedding album...
