I'm new here, just registered. I was looking to get into wildlife this summer while on break from college. I live in Illinois and was curious if anyone had any good spots to go to in this state to photograph animals at. Any national parks or conservations you guys know of?
Not sure where you are located within IL. I lived in Decatur in the 90's and would find a lot of wildlife in Allerton Park close to Champaign. It is a really nice park on a river. It seemed to me that since the surrounding area is mostly farmland, most of the wildlife would hang out there.
