I got a chuckle out of 3, like little kids with their hands in the cookie jar
Love the light and colors in the first and the light an angle in the last. The interaction of the last really makes that shot special The whites in the first and last look to be a bit hot, the detail is lost in them.

Thanks Tim. The whites are a bit hot here compared to the original file. Always tough with these guys. In poor light the whites are easy but the colours aren't vibrant; in good light the colours are special but the whites go off. I usually underexpose in bright light. Ant other suggestions would be appreciated. Don

I used to have this discussion with another member of the forum that doesn't post much anymore. I would disagree that in good light the whites are hard but the colors show better. I think that the subtle tonalities of the blacks/blues on the backs of these guys are lost in the brighter light as are the chestnuts/browns. Only the bright colors show well when you have to expose for brighter light. So you lose the whites and the darks in brighter light and only gain on the obvious bright colors. Just my 2 cents.
