I have used a Metz 54-4i for a number of years with my Canon and Hasselblad gear. I bought the SCA module 3402 (I believe version M8 or 9) to use with my Nikon D800 and I cannot get the flash to toggle to high speed synch. Hence I am limited to a 1/320 shutter. The metz manual and SCA module 3402 should allow HSS. Does anyone have any experience with this flash on Nikon cameras.
It is my understanding that you set the e.1 menu to 1/320 FP or 1/250 FP and it should enable HSS. This is what i have done. The metz flash when enabled shows HSS on the LCD window and I do not see this.

You have to enable HSS on your camera not on the flash.
