Day two of my remembering Galapagos. Today features what is probably the bird most often associated with the Galapagos even though it is not endemic to the islands.

Thanks everyone for the comments. These birds are the coolest things I saw while at the islands. Unfortunately, the one island I didn't get to go to was the one with the red-footed boobies. Oh well there is always a next time......

Well penguins are my #1 favourite animal and these guys have to be a close 2nd at least in the bird category. I think what draws people to them is the same awkwardness while walking around that penguins do. But you should see them when they are fishing, whole 'nother story....they are like torpedo dive bombers!
