So I finally bought a new lens, a Nikon 300mm f/4 AF-S and 1.4 TC (to replace my very old 70-210mm), after lots of advice

I took it out the next morning and found some wrens.

Female, Malurus cyaneus. Still cropped to about 1/4 of file

nice choice on the lens (Would be better if it were an EF Canon though

If your gonna shoot birds you would be better off with a 500mm or 600mm lens..... Hey it's just money
