There's not much in Round Rock for landscape, it's too heavily populated, although just 10 minutes north of where I live I snapped the below shot. Lot's a great State Parks west and SW of the area with good features. Albeit, lot's of the same old stuff...rock and stump juniper. You can travel for miles and not have any shift in geography; in fact, I'm scheming to move from this area to the PAC NW.
Yeah, I was afraid of that. Having driven through Texas a few times, it seems a whole lot of the same no matter where you go. But still, in the event I visit the relatives, it's good to have a few places in mind.
