This happened last night when I was trying to remove a locking hex screw on a RRS monopod head. Bad tool!

Has anybody else had similar problems?

try heating with a hair dryer or something a little warmer, maybe even a soldering iron but gently, the locktite used will usually loosen with heat, depending on the type used. While still warm try to loosen and you should have better luck.

Wow! Never like that haha. Guessing it's aluminum and not the one RRS sent you? :P

There was no locktite, as I installed it originally myself. I used a stronger Allen key and it came off fine.

It's not aluminum, but apparently it's not much stronger.

I've already posted my share of April 1 themes. This really happened last night. On March 31! Of course, my case would be stronger if I waited until tomorrow to post it.

Shoulda used a Gitzo! SSsure it would have cost 20 bucks (US) for the wrench, but it would work!
